Driver-Tour Guide
Our Guide Giannis Makrakis was born in 1973 in Athens. His family has written its own history in motorsports in Greece as his father was a rally driver and Greek GN champion. He has been active in the field of Off Road - Alternative Motor Tourism since 1997 having routes throughout the country.
He has appeared in well-known Off Road magazines around the world and is known in the field both for his technique and his love for four-wheel drive and for his love for Greece. Above all, he puts the safety of his guests and his goal is to get to know the real Greece with him . His dream is to discover, record and present to the world even the last unknown corner of Greece.
Our vehicle is a fully equipped Land Rover Discovery with Front & Rear Winch, Bull Bars, Lift Kit 3 Inches, Snorkel, Rear Lock, CB - UHF - VHF as well as with all the necessary Hi Lift, Mudtraxx, Release Tools, Traction Belts, Air Compressor, Battery Booster etc offers the absolute safety to the participants.
The ideal vehicle for Off Road activities as in its cabin our guests enjoy a comfortable, relaxing and authentic Off Road experience.
The day was exceptional. Yannis was passionate about the island, home grown food and off roading. The day was spent going places where only a Landrover can go. The brunch by the waterfall was great. The lunch later in the family restaurant was the best fresh home cooking I have ever had. Swimming in the private beach couldn’t be better. I would recommend this trip in a heart beat. The best value for money day out. Yannis was brilliant.
Yiannis was an amazing tour guide and an excellent host on the most awesome experience we had in our 2 weeks in Lefkada! We saw a different part of the island, secret locations, beaches and the very best of local cuisine. All in all it's definitely an experience to try once you're here. We booked the trip online, prior to our holiday. Yannis, the owner, was very prompt and thorough in his replies. This was not just an ordinary tourist excursion. More like an educational exclusive private tour, leaving us with a deep knowledge about Lefkada and a lifetime memory. We saw the unique spots in Lefkada, were many people haven’t been due to the rough roads. Yannis is not only a highly experienced driver, but also a very knowledgeable guy.
