Our tour will start from the stone arched bridge of Plaka, built in 1866 on the Arachthos river, to continue towards the mountain settlement of Pindos Kalarrites at 800m with the old bridge of the stream of Chrousia. At 2050m, the legendary Verlinga, taken from a myth, awaits us to give us unique moments of beauty and relaxation, in the company of the Tritons of the famous third dragon lake of Pindos. Crossing the Aspropotamos valley and full of emotions, nature and images, we will spend our first night.
The second day of our excursion starts from the beech-filled Ronas Forest, where, crossing it, we will climb towards the Aniliou ski resort at 1850m to end up in the Pindos National Forest which includes the infinitely beautiful Zesti Koilada, Valia Kalda and Arkudorema. Valia Kalda Dressed in its Autumn colors, will welcome us in the company of the most beautiful Forests of black and red Pine, Beech and its wild animals. Having been filled with beautiful images that will accompany us for an entire life, we will spend the night in the beautiful and picturesque Vovousa, in Eastern Zagori. The village of woodcutters with the stone bridge that was built in 1748 and still connects the two mahalades of the village today.
The third day will start from the remote settlement of Laista at 1020m which was completely destroyed in 1943. Continuing we will visit Iliohori with its hidden waterfalls on the slopes of Eastern Tymfi at an altitude of 920m and Gyftokambos with its Sarakatsani ponds to complete the activity us with the sunset and the colors of the Ionian Sea.
